Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university. A computer qualification — either a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, O Level certification, or a CCC Certificate — is also mandatory for all three posts. Additionally, applicants must possess a minimum English typing speed of 25 words per minute. Make sure you meet both the academic and computer proficiency requirements before applying.
Age Limit
For the posts of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer, the age limit is 21 to 35 years. For Computer Assistant, candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the prevailing Uttar Pradesh government norms — SC/ST, OBC, and EWS applicants should check the official notification for the exact relaxation applicable to their category.
Application Fee
| Category | Fee (Per Post) |
|---|---|
| General / OBC | ₹1,200 |
| SC / ST / EWS (UP domicile) | ₹1,000 |
The fee is charged per post, so candidates applying for more than one position will need to pay separately for each. Payment can be made online via net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI up to 22 June 2026.
Selection Process
Allahabad High Court will conduct the selection in three distinct stages. Every stage is eliminatory, so only those who clear the previous round proceed further.
- Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination: An objective-type (OMR-based) written test covering general knowledge, reasoning, and related subjects.
- Stage 2 – Main Examination: A descriptive (conventional) written examination testing subject knowledge in greater depth.
- Stage 3 – Computer Knowledge Test / Typing Test: A practical computer-based test assessing typing speed and computer proficiency, conducted in CBT mode.
The examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the High Court. Candidates should regularly check the NTA portal for exam schedule announcements, admit card releases, and other updates. No separate examination fee refund is issued once payment is processed.
